Distance from Palomares Park: 0.2 miles
​The parks can host all sports young children play from basketball, baseball and soccer. There is a skate park that was well occupied when visited and seems to be the most popular place for adolescents and teenagers as well as young adults. A unique historical part of the park is the adobe house, it's a part of Pomona's history and shared with the community. The down side to my visit was there were safety concerns that caught my attention and need further investigation. The park overall was clean and seen to be easily accessible. The amount of green space seemed to be adequate for the overall area.

Distance from Country Cross Park: 0 miles
With the park located next to the school it provides easy access for the children from this elementary school. The park can also be known as a secret spot hidden away up a flight of stairs for the residents of the area. The equipment is clean as well as the area in general. Down the top of this hill is the rest of the park, a large field used for children's seasonal sports. The downside to this park is that though the playground is on top of the hill hidden away the bathrooms are at the bottom of the flight of stairs. There is plenty of shade near the playground and benches around as well.

Distance from Washington Park: 0.4 miles
​Washington Park has many things going on and is equipped for many sports as well that young children from Washington Elementary school benefit from. There are more than 2 baseball fields, plenty of green space for a soccer match, tennis courts, basketball courts and a community pool as well as a community center. Many students in elementary school up to high school could benefit from this park with what it offers. They have a well equipped playground that is spread out that helps eliminate congestion in one spot.
Distance from Kellogg Park: 0 miles
Last but not least is Kellogg Park located in the west part of Pomona's boundary. This area is right next to the school like Country Cross Park and provides easy access for the students of the elementary school. It is the smallest of the four parks and not leveled for any type of sport league. There are small hills that make the green space uneven but still pleasant. This part aims for younger children and is equipped with a small playground as well. The location of the park is good for the neighborhood who benefits from it the most on weekends and when school is out. It is a clean park and while school is in session the bathrooms remain locked.
